David Ishee

David Ishee is a dog breeder and biohacker. Have you ever stopped to think about how many different types of dogs there are in the world? You probably could name at least a dozen breeds of varying sizes, colors, and textures. Humans have bred dogs for thousands of years, but over time we have let dogs develop detrimental, genetic diseases. David Ishee believes that action needs to be taken to help fix the problem we have created, so he is using a gene-editing technology called CRISPR to try and prevent future generations from possessing those harmful conditions. People all over the world love and cherish dogs, as does Ishee. David Ishee is trying to help the furry creatures we all love healthfully endure.
