Most people think that growing your business to be the biggest it can be is the best thing to do. You’re a more successful entrepreneur if you have tons of employees across dozens of different countries. Paul Jarvis has looked at this idea and come up with his own conclusion. In his book Company of One, he explores how having a smaller business is the next big thing for the business world. He says that having a smaller business will let you determine your hours, how you spend your time and your money, and (most importantly) what you want to do with your business. Mr. Paul has put this into practice in his own life. He runs a successful software business while purposely turning down investors. Paul Jarvis is disrupting the normal business stereotype and showing everyone how being small is actually good.
